HEALTHHARBOR • TERMS OF USE

Terms of Use

Effective date: August 11, 2026

HealthHarbor is currently in development and is not yet a production medical application. These terms describe the intended use of the service as development and testing continue.

1. About HealthHarbor

HealthHarbor is an independent patient-facing software project developed by DadCanMakeIT. It is intended to help individuals securely access information they are authorized to view from supported healthcare systems and organize that information in a clearer mobile experience.

2. Not medical advice

HealthHarbor is not a healthcare provider and does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or professional medical advice. Information displayed by HealthHarbor comes from connected sources and should be reviewed with the appropriate healthcare professional when medical decisions are involved.

3. Patient-authorized access

You may only use HealthHarbor to access health information that you are legally authorized to access. Supported healthcare systems may require you to authenticate directly with that organization. HealthHarbor is designed not to collect or store your healthcare portal password.

4. Accuracy and availability

HealthHarbor may depend on third-party healthcare systems, FHIR APIs, mobile operating systems, and network connectivity. Data may be delayed, unavailable, incomplete, duplicated, or changed by the source system. Official patient portals and healthcare organizations remain the authoritative source for appointments, results, and medical records.

5. Calendar features

HealthHarbor may compare healthcare appointments with Apple Calendar and may allow you to add or update calendar events after review. Duplicate detection is intended to reduce accidental duplicate entries but cannot guarantee that every event will be identified correctly. You remain responsible for reviewing calendar changes.

6. Security and account responsibility

You are responsible for protecting your device, device passcode, Apple account, and healthcare portal accounts. If you believe your device or healthcare account has been compromised, revoke access through the relevant healthcare organization and take appropriate account-security steps.

7. Third-party services

HealthHarbor may interoperate with services and platforms operated by third parties, including healthcare organizations, electronic health record vendors, Apple, and other data providers. DadCanMakeIT does not control those services and is not responsible for their availability, terms, policies, or actions.

8. Prohibited use

9. Changes

These terms may be updated as HealthHarbor moves from prototype to production. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
